Baking bread has been how civilizations have sustained themselves for thousands of years. In my own life, it is one of my favorite acts of patience and skill, encompassing relationships, satiating hunger, and deepening natural appreciation.
This zine contains poems written in April 2018 around those topics, and folds out into a poster with a bread recipe inspired by the no-knead, double-baked loaf pioneered by Jim Lahey of Sullivan Street Breads.
